How to Search for a Sacramento County General Business License

Type in your web browser: data.saccounty.gov

This is an example of what you'll see when the page loads. Scroll down and choose either "Business" or "Finance" (circled in red in the image below).

Scroll down to "Business Licenses" and click the link to select that dataset (circled in red in the image below):

Select "View data table" on the left side of the screen (circled in red in the image below):

Click on the “filter” (circled in red in the image below):

Now you can search by business name or business address.

**PLEASE NOTE** Home-based business addresses are confidential and will not be released without a subpoena or to an authorized government agency.
